The idm Group take Corporate Responsibility seriously;

The Companies Act 2006, Part 10, Chapter 2 (Roles and Responsibilities of Directors), Section S172 highlights our “Duty to promote the success of the company: company’s employees; relationships with suppliers and customers; impact on community and environment; business conduct and ethics.” This means that we will:
- adopt ethical business practices at all times and ensure through effective corporate governance that we obey all laws covering competition, procurement and supply chain, investor relations and respect our plc client relationships with regard to their investor relations and stock exchange dealings.(Economic Assurance)
- support an ethical code of conduct that respects human rights, values diversity, promotes equal opportunity, protects the welfare of all, trains and develops our people, provides them with suitable working conditions, provides family related working practices that enables the achievement of work life balance, and allows for constructive and rewarding employee and community relations (Social Assurance)
- develop environmental management systems that promote sustainability, minimise waste, reduce pollution, minimise water usage, maximise material utilisation, reduces our carbon footprint through reduction in CO2 emissions and energy reduction, and ensures our neighbours are not disturbed by noise pollution (Environmental Assurance)
