Tamasin Larocque

Key Experience

Tamasin joined The idm Group to work on product/solutions promotion and developing new business leads, as well as undertaking research projects on behalf of client organisations. Having developed strong research skills through her studies in Linguistics, for which she achieved a First Class Honours MA from Edinburgh University, she has continued to develop her research capabilities in the fields of marketing and in company diagnostics within The idm Group.

Tamasin has gained managerial and leadership experience in a variety of settings including working within the flagship retail store, Harrods, in Purchasing, Sales Management, Personnel and the Chairman’s Office.

In her recent role as an Advocate with the Independent Complaints Advocacy Service, Tamasin researched and presented options for clients who required assistance and support in dealing with the NHS. She has also worked within the NHS, interfacing between the organisation and the public in the role of Complaints Manager, which required the exercise of considerable tact and diplomacy. Other previous roles include organising events and providing project management support for organisations such as a College of Further Education in Grantham, and developing and implementing the sales and marketing strategy for a telecommunications company.

Tamasin has acquired a range of competencies which have stood her in good stead in the Retail, Education and Health sectors. Her work as Business Development/Research Consultant with The idm Group enables her to utilise these skills with client businesses, assisting them to develop and grow through more effective, informed decisions.
